So Monday Jamie and I were over at my sister's house enjoying our day off, playing with the kids, and just visiting when my Mom kept calling and asking her if we had checked our mail yet. She was acting weird, but I didn't think anything of it. Then she calls me and asks me if we've checked our mail yet. I told her we still hadn't even left, and she said to make sure we go home and check it. I figured she sent a card with some Baby Money in it or something like that. Boy was I wrong. We pulled up to two huge boxes sitting on our porch, and I could see the "GRACO" from the driveway. She surprised us with the awesome Stroller/Travel System and Playpen that we'd been eyeing at Babies R Us. In my Mom's regular spy-like gift-giving fashion, we hadn't actually even shown her what we wanted, but she used her resources to figure it out anyway. Thanks Mom!! We love them! We put the Stroller together that night, and I'll get some pics up soon.

Those are awesome gifts! My parents bought us the crib as a gift and that was awesome too- can't beat baby gifts!!
Have you worked on a nursery yet? Are you waiting until you find out what you're having?
We're holding off until we know what it is -- should be Late May. Although we do already have a crib and dresser :) We'll be waiting on the color scheme/deco stuff.
I hope it's a girl! :) They're pretty awesome... boys are ok too! ;)
I would be HONORED to come to KC and photograph the newest Geist when (s)he makes the grand entrance! Just let me know- Brett's brother and his wife live in KC so we're always willing to go!
